Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and captain of the 2012's Fierce Five, as well as the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. In the end, she was the first American in the Olympics with the top amount of medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win a gold at the team event, earning Gabby as well as Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive team golds. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual and floor exercise. After the second Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American team at two World Championships. She began her gymnastics training at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the range of her socks and leotards in the coming years. Fierce is a novel is due out later in the year.
